My Rights, My Say is here to help them have a say in decisions about their education.

It’s free, confidential, and easy to use.

As a parent or carer, you have rights to be involved in decisions and discussions about your child’s support.

My Rights, My Say is here to help you and your child take part in decisions about their education, with extra independent support when you need it.

How can My Rights, My Say help?

My Rights, My Say can help your child to:

Think about the support they need with their learning
Be involved in decisions about their support in school – for example at school meetings or tribunal cases
Share their views – for example by attending a support meeting with them
Ask for an assessment if they think they might have a specific additional support need (ASN)
Find out if they need a Co-ordinated Support Plan (CSP).
