Advice and Information

Understanding children’s rights and knowing what help is available can make a big difference to how supported a child or young person feels at school.

This is why an important aspect of the My Rights, My Say service is to provide clear and accessible advice and information.

Enquire is Scotland’s advice service for additional support for learning (ASL) and a partner in My Rights, My Say.

It is Enquire’s role to raise awareness of the rights of children with additional support needs aged 12–15 and the support My Rights, My Say offers.

Speaker 2: We offer advice and information to parents, carers, and families about what you and your child’s rights are in relation to support in school, and how to work together to ensure your child gets the support they need.

Speaker 3: As well as our website, our helpline team can be reached during the week and are available through telephone and email.
